Mental Health Therapy

Everyone faces challenges at times. My goal is to provide a safe, professional, and confidential space where you can explore what’s troubling you and begin to make meaningful change.

As a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist, I follow strict ethical standards and evidence-based practice. You can trust that your care will be handled with integrity, compassion, and professionalism throughout every stage of therapy.

What to Expect

Our work together begins with a comprehensive assessment. This first session allows time to understand:

  • What’s been happening
  • How its affecting your life
  • What you’d like to achieve through therapy

We’ll then agree on a treatment plan so you leave with clarity about the next steps, likely duration, and focus of our sessions.

My role is to listen without judgement and to guide you toward your chosen goals using structured, collaborative methods.

Common Areas I work with:

  • Anxiety Disorders (Generalised Anxiety, Panic, Social Anxiety, Health Anxiety, Agoraphobia)
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Depression and Low Mood
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Low Self-Esteem & Confidence
  • Body Dysmorphia & Body Image Concerns
  • Specific Phobias (Including Emetophobia)
  • Performance or Public Speaking Anxiety
  • Adjustment to Long-Term Health Conditions

Special Interest area: Mental Health effects of living with rare or medically unexplained conditions (e.g Post- Finasteride Syndrome (PFS) and Post SSRI Sexual Dysfunction (PSSD)

My Approach

Therapy is a collaborative process. I combine approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Rational-Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) to help you:

  • Develop self-awareness
  • Manage difficult thoughts and emotions
  • Build practical coping strategies
  • Regain a sense of control and purpose

It takes courage to start therapy- and reading this is already a meaningful first step.

Please note: I do not provide urgent or crisis support. If you are at risk or feel unsafe ,contact your GP, NHS 111 or your local Samaritans service.
